It's that time of year.
POTATO SALAD
1 lb red or white small potatoes (creamers, fingers, whatever) 2 boiled eggs chopped onion 1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced relish (sweet or dill) pickles, chopped (sweet or dill) capers mustard Hellman's mayonnaise (accept no substitutions; this really is the best) lemon juice salt, pepper, paprika
Boil the potatoes in their skins (you can boil the eggs at the same time), drain, and cool. Slice the potatoes and chop the eggs. Add other ingredients to taste, except for the paprika, and mix until blended. Once the salad is flavored to suit you (taste it), sprinkle paprika on the surface.

Go to the deli, get a tub (size is up to you) of potato salad; open and serve.
