CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP
1 lb fresh asparagus ca. 1 cup half and half 2 tablespoons butter lemon juice salt pepper
Steam asparagus until done. Put in blender with approximately 1/2 cup half and half and blend until smooth. Add remainder of half and half. Heat carefully on low heat until butter is melted. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper (and more half and half) to taste. Makes 2 8-ounce servings.
