4 medium peeled or unpeeled cooking apples, sliced (about 4 C) 3/4 C all-purpose flour 3/4 C packed brown sugar 1/2 C regular or quick-cooking oats 1/3 C chopped walnuts 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 C margarine or butter, softened
Heat oven to 375 Spread apple slices in an ungreased 8 inch square pan Mix remaining ingredients with fork; sprinkle over apples Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Eat plain or serve with vanilla ice cream
